How does it work?
Each morning, CloudyPlanner checks the weather forecast for your location. If a sunny day is expected, it adjusts your heating system to make use of the extra energy that your solar panels are likely to produce. This allows your heat pump to run while solar power is available — turning excess energy into useful heating, by overheating your water tank.
